Efforts on Conflict Minerals

In recent years, there has been concern that minerals such as tantalum, gold, tungsten, and tin mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo and nine neighboring countries have become sources of funding for armed groups causing human rights abuses and environmental destruction. In light of this, the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act defined these four mineral resources as conflict minerals.
We will verify with suppliers that products we handle do not include conflict minerals that are believed to contribute to funding armed groups as mentioned above. We will also actively work towards the elimination of conflict minerals from our supply chain.
